Day Trip - Arusha National Park Day Trip Itinerary

Start/End: Arusha Town
07:30 – Pick-up from Your Hotel in Arusha
Your Bingo Safaris guide will collect you from your hotel for a scenic 45-minute drive to Arusha National Park. Enjoy views of the majestic Mount Meru as you approach the park gates.
08:30 – Morning Game Drive
Enter the park for your first wildlife encounter. Drive through lush montane forests where black-and-white colobus monkeys, bushbucks, and blue monkeys thrive. Continue towards the Momela Lakes, famous for their flocks of flamingos and waterbirds, with possible sightings of giraffes, zebras, and buffalo.
11:00 – Guided Nature Walk
Meet your armed park ranger for a walking safari—a rare opportunity in Tanzania. Stroll along forest paths and open plains, getting up close to wildlife while learning about the park’s plants, animal tracks, and natural history. The walk lasts about 1–2 hours, depending on your preference.
13:00 – Picnic Lunch
Relax and enjoy a picnic lunch in one of the park’s designated areas, surrounded by the sounds of nature.
14:00 – Afternoon Game Drive
Continue exploring the park, heading towards the Ngurdoto Crater—often called “Little Ngorongoro” for its breathtaking views. Spot warthogs, waterbucks, and possibly elephants along the way.
16:00 – Return to Arusha
Exit the park and drive back to Arusha, arriving at your hotel in the early evening with wonderful memories and photographs of your day.
